That's what they did to me on my last run there too. Didn't leave Aurora until 1030. And then you get to play the drop and hook shuffle at the store. Hopefully it is not snowing...

 

Delivered my cheese load this morning. Headed over to Budweiser, load is not ready. Hmmmmm. Supposed to load at 2300 last night and deliver by 1400 today. Wasn't going to be on time anyway. There was two other empties there too. There wasn't even a trailer assigned to it yet. So much for that drop/hook in Russellville. Making a crappy week even crappier.

 

Any ETA on when yours is going to be repaired?

 

I'll be leaving FRE soon, but not because I hate it here. Got offered a local job on Friday. Off on weekends and a set schedule. I couldn't turn it down. Still working out all the details with Don, but I'll be around for another week or so probably. He's at the hospital with his mom right now.

Thanks bumper. Yeah, I'm sorry we didn't get to meet either. I had a local job lined up before I came on here, but I had already committed to Don, do I figured I'd give it a shot. It hasn't been bad here, I'm just wanting to be home. Everyone here had been great, and I will tell anyone who'll listen that these guys are a good outfit. Sure they have some work to do, but in a few years they will be one of those great companies, I think.

 

Fyi. Greg is on vacation and Robin and Leah are handling his board. If there is a delay in hearing on something that is why.

Anyways first day of orientation is done....Passed the interview and the physical now back at the hotel and wonder what i am gonna do for the rest of the day

but was told a lot of interesting info about the company and stuff that is going on around here.

 

Well I just got my pre-plan for Saturday when I leave the house....DH to Houston then a Bud load to Denver. Looks like I will be visiting CT Power sooner than I thought.

Boy that new Maintenance Director is right on top of things!
