I call BS on all of you saying that drivers do not go inside and make purchases Well that is YOUR opinion we are entitled to ours ( based on actual facts over the YEARS ) without the BS branding.

 

Id like to see these (actual facts) you seem to hold.

Id like to know how these (actual facts) were gathered and what control groups were used during the gathering of said facts.

A press release from the company is not a fact and the (fact) that more truck stops are being built is a clear indication of a profit. Not a loss. You don't build more stores to lose money in. And that is a fact

 

2 years in the biz you dont know how it was only has it is and that is the problem that the TS owners are faced with.

 

The future may be charge to park and redeem the cost in the establishment.

 

The facts are what I see, because of the comforts in the modern trucks, they fire up the engines, if they dont idle, and leave in the morning as fast as they come in in the evening. Pis in a bottle eat in the truck and if the TS owner is lucky they will not toss thier spoils in the lot. Thats what I see in the evening, morning and if go in one at lunch time when the lot has cleared you see the remains of the night before.

 

I think the older drivers do go in, because that is mostly how we learned.

 

I spent the night at the TA West and it is now $20 to park.

 

I think the truck stops should bring back pay to park. That po of folks. Pay to get into the lot

Id like to see these (actual facts) you seem to hold My 39 years on the road and what I have seen / witnessed not EVERYONE buys something after spending time being PARKED for free, against your 2 of knowing it all.

 

I think it is another way to screw drivers
