New to forum, potential Maverick applicant

Greetings and salutations to all; I have read many threads in this forum about an over the road career. I am transitioning out of a career with the Post Office as a Clerk. I hope the transition will not be too much a shock on my system. *Humor* I acquired my CDL with all but a hazmat endorsement on my own without shelling out the $K’s many do to acquire it. Before my postal career I drove in and around the Dallas/FT. Worth region in various jobs. I am looking forward to the challenges and rewards this career offers. If any “seasoned” drivers from Maverick wish to chime in and offer advice I would extend a heartfelt thank you. When I evaluate out I will be in the Glass division I assume out of Corsicana.
