Well today started out good for me got to my cust about 5hours early took a 5hour nap and finished my 10 hour break after i was unloaded. THEN i stopped for fuel in amarillo TX at LOVES! got my fuel cup of coffee. I'm walkin out of the truck stop to my truck and this BIG FAT guy with a problem pushes me knocks my drink out of my hand. Then he wants to fight Im the bigger man i walk away. I had no clue who he was or WTF his problem was.
It gets better, I work for a food carrier turns out he was Picking up at our plant. I seen him i went over to him and said WTF your problem i dont know you and u put your hands on me. He starts going off im tired of you people out here cutting in and out of traffic speeding something about juicing??? I had no clue what his problem was. So i get his truck number and tell our security about him and he keeps and eye on him and me. His company was Transam truck number 97012. I called his company and told his company and they couldn't believe it. He also told me He don't care cuz hes quitting But he really messed up cuz hes gonna get fired for it and on his DAC.. Lol
Now i feel i did the right thing about this cuz im not gonna give my company a bad name by fighting in a store and causing tons of problems. I didn't wanna lose my job cuz i love what i do. What would you have done.
biggest jerk so far!

You could also tell his company you are considering pressing charges against him for assault. Should all be on video tape at the Loves....

-
Take it a step further and press charges on him. I would.

Maybe you need to stop cutting in and out of traffic and speeding?

OK, I just had to get that out of my system, pay no attention to it!
He put his hands on you, that sucks. I do think you did the right thing by walking away. My last company had an iron clad rule, that they wouldn't bend no matter the circumstances. If you fight, you are history. Not sure I agree with that policy, but there it is.
As far as calling his company is concerned, and what they told you? Ah, I don't know. Most companies are not going to tell anybody what kind of disciplinary action they take against their employes. Could lead to law suits and other problems. I'm betting they just told you that to get you off the phone.lovesthedrive, otherhalftw, rockee and 1 other person Thank this. -

In some states, you have 366 days from date of occurrence to file a complaint. However, in this case, that sounds to me like overkill. It is done with, let it go.FloTheWaitress, rockee and Truckergirl0720 Thank this.
