They recently stopped doing their famous mandatory weekly wash thing I have heard. They have gone to a program like we do now. Every 21 days. Its kind of funny seeing them running around in dirty trucks now. Oh well, money talks, and saving where you can is paramount these days.....

On their website it still says weekly. May be different. Why did the ex drivers quit TMC, do you know? From what I've read and heard they sound like a good company. Anything is better than where he's at lol.

A lot of drivers jump between companies because they think the 'grass is greener'. I've talked to quite a few TMC drivers and for the most part they seem happy. I believe they are just as strict on their hiring policy as Maverick, but you should still look into them. I considered them when I was starting out, but they would only get me home every other weekend. Now that I think of it, there is two TMC drivers that park at my home Pilot, and they seem to be home just as much as me.
Nice company, nice trucks.....but "Chrome don't get you home" Yes, they are better than CRE...

I just completed orientation and hands on securement training. I will be heading out with a driving instructor for the next 5 to 6 weeks. I'm assigned to Regional Southwest flatbed. I can attest to everything you've been told.

Look I know that this company has a bad reputation to some people, but I am with them now and although I am looking for other work, I am not that unhappy here. I could handle this for another year if i needed to and I think your husband might like it better than his current position. I didn't catch all the particulars of your situation but try it out. JB Hunt is a heck of a lot better company than where he is right now.
