That was his choice but he has a good reason for doing it. Mn is not hard to get home to if you want hometime.

Sitting at the Silgan/Del Monte plant in Plover, WI. 14 and 70 running out so here is where I stay. Had a nice morning, delivered at 5 am inside the Loop in Chicago. Nothing like parking on the street to get unloaded. Driving in and out was a trip!

OK, pay attention newbies and even some over confident old timers. if delivering into Chicago, downtown, CALL THE CITY BEFORE TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT BY YOURSELF. I planned my route myself, thought about it, second guessed myself, couldn't sleep, came up with a different route, second guessed that one, then finally called. Nice lady gave me directions in with no issues. A route that I ignored because I thought it was a no go, but I was wrong. The route I wanted, TROUBLE! Now, for the bad! Don't forget to get directions for LEAVING! I did! :biggrin_25510: Once you are completely unloaded, there isn't much time to plan your escape! Know it before hand. I only made one "bad" turn and had to circle around and back to get out. Lesson for the day! Just wish I would have taken a picture of the unloading. Oh well!

Anyone else get selected as Guinea pig to beta test the new HOS changes or am I the only one? Not really thrilled about it, but in a few months we will all be here anyway.

Maybe they are going to have all the trainers follow the new rules...
