Looking foward to getting started at Greenbush on Monday. Hauling primarily treated lumber but also steel and some coils. It's time to get back to work and I'm ready. Have talked to several of their drivers and not heard any negatives about the company, which made it the first place I applied!:biggrin_25519:

Interested to know how you do over there. I've thought about them before.

I'll keep you posted. One thing I really like is they will (if you have experience) put you with a driver trainer for 3 or 4 days on short runs to get you the basics of how they do things. They will then put you in your truck. They don't have orientation every week or two like some companies so they look at you having a better knowledge when you go to orientation therefore, having better and more useful questions. Makes sense to me, plus you get to work quicker!

    Coolbreeze Thanks this.

They weren't hiring for a long while, good to see them getting busy again and putting drivers back to work. I talked to their Sumterville facility a few years back, but things were very slow and they weren't doing any hiring. There was another poster on here who worked for them and used to keep updates, but haven't seen him in a while.

The first week is done. I really think I'm gonna like it here. They put me with an excellent trainer and hopefully will get my own truck by the end of the week.

Almost 2 months into it and so far I'm really liking it here. Keeping everyone busy to normally be the "slow" time of the year. Been home every weekend and often during the week.

I also have heard good things about this company. Good pay, nice home time with decent benefits.

Hey Taino, they have a terminal in Sumterville right off of 75. Last time I checked a guy by the name of Terry was doing the hiring, might be worth it to check it out.
