Ok, can't wait for Greg to come back from vacation. I know some might feel different...lol. On a load from Holcomb to 1st drop Terrell tx 2nd drop Laredo Tx. Told dispatch I couldn't make OTD for 2nd drop. Pick up by 1422 today 1st at 0415 tomorrow 2nd 0700 the next day. If I ran nights I might have a chance but would have to wait around to take off. Load was ready last night but I didn't know until 0900 this morning. Tyson's phone was disconnectd so no calling in. My response back from dispatch was to remind me of my appointments. This is the 3rd load I have been given with Greg gone that I can't do. I'll be on time tomorrow. Good thing we have a safety officer that doesn't look at the log books.

Also I'm only staying here until the end of the year. By that time ill have a big bill paid off. Going to get out of trucking altogether again. Wife and kids want me home more. I have tried 3 times at getting a local job or office job here but I keep getting passed over. I like the friends I have made here and want to stay but I don't want to stay OTR for ever. At that time ill ge giving away my truck gear that I will not be needing and anything I collect from here on. If anyone here is still around then you will get 1st dibs on it....lol. Well got to get some sleep at the truck stop so I can wake up at the 1st drop. Night everyone.

 

Lol, no I don't think I have said anything untrue about Mark.

 

Everyone that applied has said that Mark will have nothing to do with that job and they don't answer to him. So I am not the only one with this attitude. I was offered the job but was asked to move to new Albany to do it. I turn it down. Besides pointing out what mark is not doing isn't a bad attitude. I was pointing out more how no one goes to bat for us when we get illegal runs to do. Even after I told dispatch 3 times all I got was a reminder on my appointments. Mark has nothing to do with that but he is also safety. It is just how we hide it on the eloggs to show it legal when it is not and you really didn't get that rest you logged. I'm to the point that I don't care. Trash truck or not I'm just here until I pay off my loan then I'll just find something else. If it can to it I can work with mark. But if I am running something mark doesn't have any say on it.
