    Seems like i seen a guy with short straaps with chains on end aand would hook his chaais to that then tightened. Just for that reason.

    That is why the Revolution trailer is the PERFECT conestoga trailer with the extruded rub rail and slots for the straps. I'm still heavily towards getting one. Just hate to see my MPG suffer

    You should have either j-hooks or d rings in the floor of the trailer ... If not ... That sucks ... I never run straps through cause its such a pain

    the j-hooks are underneather the rail just like on a normal trailer

    yeah with that flattop starcar it might suffer a bit but its so worth it!!! im in a kw t660 and i average 6.5-7mpg pulling it around and i have the short midroof truck

    with the steel tubing i have on right now im at 79,340 and even that heavy i still get that mpg

    Huh?

    I'm lost here, I thought we were talking about J-hooks that slide into a slot along the rub rail that you can secure to?
    Never saw them underneath the rub rail...

    I'm at the house, had a hydraulic leak in my loaner truck, fixing it tonight and Im going out to dayton ohio for a load coming back around the area then monday im back in my truck, it had the darn emissions exhaust filter plugged up completely...

    Ummmm....j hooks or chain hooks should not be under the rub rail....can you pull them up through the floor?

    I believe on the Reitneour trailers have the "J-Hook" securement system...

    I have had reitnour and manacs with the J-hooks and a trans crap with pull through chains and I prefer the J hooks myself.
