Well, guess I got lucky, looking at the radar, it seemed the rain band was freezing back toward me, so I stopped early in Oak Grove, MO Petro. Heard they closed 70 at 35. I was looking at the Doppler Radar In Motion on the Electronic Logs tablet and saw the rain turning to freezing rain colors and the signs getting freezing rain buildup so decided that was an omen and time to stop.
Won't be getting home soon, my spider sense was tingling and even though I was told I could deliver Saturday in Owosso, MI, I double checked and sure enough, after hustling for nearly 700 miles yesterday I should have stopped in Amarillo and had that steak dinner cause this load won't get unloaded till Monday. ::;sigh::: the spirits are delaying our return.
Anyway, got some laundry done.![]()
