Made it to Houston, thank God I tried to deliver early. It seems my appt is at 0100 not 1300. Well then I thought I was going to finally run with Daniel on my last trip. Well they messed that up now he's going to Lubbock instead. Got my flight out Monday morning at 10:25 so there will be a nice truck with a,beer load waiting on some poor soul lol Searchers when is your flight out maybe we can share a cab to the airport?

My flight isn't until 2045, but I was planning on going to the airport as soon as I got everything wrapped up Monday morning. This load is supposed to drop right at the yard. I'm leaving kc on Sunday morning so I can park there and be ready first thing. That would be great if it works out frogman. I checked on cab prices and they want $40 to run from aurora to Denver international. A shuttle bus is $50, and you'll be crammed in with 8-10 other people. Hopefully Daniel and bumper will get unloaded early enough. I'll definitely be on from time to time, you guys are all great.(even Tennessee...lol)

 

my heart goes out to david and the loss of his daughter.no one should have to go threw life and lose a child.he is in my prayers.tears come to my eyes every time i think of what he must be going threw.its a sad day at furniture row

7 hrs at Amigos unloading, was the last to leave. Now waiting on a bud load that's not ready, turning into a long day already...

yeah i plan on it. Currently at the house getting the rest of my gear and tools on the truck.

First few days out with FRE and I think I am going to hate JBS in Greeley Grrrrr First run outta the went something like this: Pick up MT Trl at yard, head to flying J to get fuel only to find half there pumps are froze and won't work switch to another pump and finally get the reefer fueled. Headed out of Denver Metro in the early evening (bad idea) icy roads and crashes everywhere finally get about 30 miles from Greeley and the roads improved. Get there and then waste 45 mins looking for hole to drop the MT in find my loaded trl tried backing up under and whatya know i get stuck in a mud hole Get the Spotter to bring over a chain and get me out and he pulls the trailer out for me, check out with Security and head down to the Truck Stop to Scale it.......81K Gross ugh Take it back time to catch a nap and now my Del appt of 17:45 the next day is out the window. They Call me back 6 Hours later and tell me the load is finally ready but now i have to sit and wait till my 8 hour is up so i can move again. Meanwhile I have Robin, Tim and Lea on my case about getting the load and still trying to make the Appt told them it ain;t happening Robin reschedules the load for a later deliver. Finally Rolled into the Cust at 0045 and told they start unloading at 0400 did not get into the door till 0800 and finally got outta there a few hours later . LOad one picked up late and Delivered 7 hours late. Not the Grand entrance i was planning on making for my Debut. dang it.

Load 2 Hit the Road from St Joe at 12 noon and head for Cassville MO to pick up a load of chicken get there at 1630 check in and told to wait in the Dirt lot in the back. Well i decide to take a nap HA! wake at 0015 this Morning and thinking they skipped over or something on getting loaded go back to the office and check with them "oh yeah were ready to load you know" get back into the door and a few hours more later i am loaded and outta there.

Now at the house getting the rest of my stuff on the truck. Have a Monday Del back in Commerce City at 0930. Guess i am gonna have to get used to the sitting around part here again. lol but in another way it feels like the days earlier in my career when i first started running Reefers. guess nothing much changes at these places.
