"Obtain a permit in your state. Drive on the road 3-4 weeks with a CDL instructor." This is what it says on the Prime website. I live in NY and was wondering from somone who has been through prime cdl school is do you have to drive down to their training center? I live in NY and I am wondering how I have to get to their training center. If I take a car do I leave my car there for months??

As vegaskid mentioned, scoot on over to the Prime forum... there's a zillion threads in there, like this one (hint)...

As to your question- they provide you with a bus ticket down to Springfield. That's a long trip, so you could either drive your car or get an airplane ticket. They will reimburse you the cost of the bus ticket if you provide your own transportation- just let your recruiter know that you plan to do this. BTW, there is a secure parking lot at the terminal if you drive your car down there. -
Thank you for all the information
