Ok Here the deal, Looking to see if I can get back out. 7 years experience Dry Van reefer and flat bed. I do have the tanker endorsement but no experience. Looking for reefer or Dry Van and not looking for a lot of home time. The truck will be my home reality.
Walls closing in on me and need to ramble the country again. Good MVR and no accidents since 2000. I am a disable Vet, why not looking for Flatbed and why no experience on the tankers.
Not looking for the benefits that larger Companies offer. Just love to be back on the road again.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
Seeing what offers i can get

LOL I took 7 year off and returned with out doing so so I been off 3 months shy of 3 this time.
But I am having second thoughts of working for others. If I can find the cash I may wait and come back out on my own Get another truck, and buy a trailer and get my own authority. What I should have done last time, then I might still had my Pete. -
Take my advice and work for someone. I know a good company where you can be a l/o and still make some decent cash. Then pursue the own authority and such. I know two people on here that mentioned they would not work for anyone else but this company. PM inbound.coastie Thanks this.

Coastie,
I can only hope you can succeed in getting your own authority and t/t. I've seen a lot of people fail but have also seen a number do good this way. You do not have your own authority in order to make decent money. SHC and others have proven this. Just my .02 in case your plan backfires.
