For me that isn't true! Been grossing about $20,000 to $25,000 a month take out fuel, truck payment, truck insurance, fuel taxes, base plates fees, maintenance (saves $600 month for repairs and maint.), personal savings ($200.00 a month) AANNDDD! health, dental and vision insurance for me and the wife. I still took home $5900 in march and $6900 in April. According to my tax adviser (which SNI provides free for 6 months) I will pay out of that $600 t0 $800 in taxes! So bottom line to the house was $5300 and $6100 last 2 months. During your thinking process if you really want to make money send me a message. Myself and friends of mine really do like to help others make money in this business! We will give you the unbiased facts!

How many miles a week are you averaging? What is your average per mile revenue? How often did you go home during those pay periods? Are you running on the choice program? West coast?

Went Home twice for only couple days each, but also had my wife me for a few weeks. I average about 3300 miles or more when pushing hard and about 2600 when I slow down to gain hours. I try to keep my revenue per mile average at about 1.50 but worse case definitely above 1.30. I run choice program and now live in PA. I can run all over but find myself in the southwest, midwest a lot because I like to run out here and seem to find better loads in the Southwest/ Midwest areas. Some guys do well in the east too, personally I just like running in these areas better. Northeast bogs me down!:Traffic lights:traffic is nuts!

Are you an IC? Our settlement reports are unfortunately very long (i like the detail) but it is very complicated to view or take a snap shot of. for someone who never seen it they probably won't make heads or tails of it. I know I didn't at first. I don't see a simple recap? On company side there was a recap showing just weeks and amounts. Not so on IC that I know of is there one somewhere that you know of?? I will see if I can screen shot the payout portion.

I have a P&L report that is generated from our settlements. In another post I opened my big mouth about what I was $making$ so (because somebody requested to see proof) have decided to post my income for the first full month as an IC. My bottom line is actually more because they took out my expense for phone bill, internet and things I bought for the truck tools etc.. the bottom line is the taxable amount.

Yep, you Can say it that way.. This is P&L statement. If you look at the expense for communications and truck tools etc. (the $726 and $427 have to add to the bottom line of $5530 = $6683) that was actually money in my check that I paid to my phone company and tools and truck stuff such as inverter, stove and things I bought. comes out to $1340. a week for 5 weeks average. Now take tax out of that, say.. $200 I'm left with $1140.00 per every week of the month of March. Heck as I said before we're not making millions out here but sure beats $3700 a month.
