Good evening folks,

I happened upon this forum while researching Amateur (HAM) radio in a big truck. I have been a driver in several venues since I was 18 starting working in EMS and fire services and coming to trucking after I retired. Right now I m Driving for Paper Transport out of Florida running the southeast. So far I am enjoying it quite a bit. Good Equipment and good support from the office staff.

I grew tired of CB radios years ago, but the company plugged one into my truck so I use it for contacting shippers and receivers but it stays off most of the rest of the time. I am looking to put a 2 meter HAM rig in the truck and was looking for suggestions and my search led me here I'm glad I found the forum.
