Streets and Trips has been getting me into trouble quite a bit lately. CoPilot may be in my future.

I follow these forums on GPS quite a bit and I rarely see anyone mention Truckmiles by Promiles. I use that and its only like $200 I think. Its pretty nice and has never really steered me in the wrong direction. My uncle uses their other software but I dont need all that as a company driver.:biggrin_25519: Id give it a go..................have a good one!!

Well, I stumbled upon a copy CoPilot 9 Truck last night,[IMG] very interesting product. I will give a full review in a week. I like how it automatically re-routes you. I like the interface how you enter your information. It did tell me to turn right into a dirt field last night, but I can't blame them 100% since it was a brand new road. It was actually 1/4 mile further.

Well it routed me to turn right AGAIN on a road that was actually 1/4 mile further. Doesn't appear to be a new one either. [IMG]
Glad I only paid $30 for it, not the $199 it sells new at retail. I woulda been P.O'd

Actually, this is more common that you would think. For several reasons.

One being the software itself. Another being the actual sattellites used. While GPS is great, it is as accurate as our government ALLOWS it to be.

I always check street names and zoom into street level with mine. Because I know that there is a margin of error BUILT into the sat feeds for civilian use.

I noticed over the past couple of weeks, mine has been waaaay off in areas it was always spot on. Now if it asked me to turn on a wrong street BY NAME, I'd be looking for something else.

If anyone is interested in "trying" CoPilot 9 For Trucks, I can hook you up.
Shoot me a PM for details.

BTW, CoPilot 9 is the same as PC Miler 20 with the addition of GPS.
