Hi! I have been riding across country with my SO of 6 yrs. for the last 2 yrs. With all the time on my hands I have become a very active member of a crime solving community known as Websleuths. I am currently looking into the Ohio truck stop murders of the 80's and 90's.
I thought this might be a good place to get some ideas and insights.
For more info on these murders you can go here.

If anyone remembers these murders or recalls having seen any of the victims. Please shoot me a message.
Also, if there is an appropriate thread to discuss this, or an area where I can start one, please let me know.
I have uploaded pictures of some of the victims. It is not known if they were all killed by the same person or not. There seem to have been several serial killers active in the area. One of the victims Anna Marie Patterson was last seen getting into a black or blue Peterbilt with a long haul trucker whose MAY have used the CB handles Dr. No / Dragon/ stargazer back.in the 80's and 90's
ETA: Anna Marie's head had been bashed in and she was brutally beaten. An autopsy revealed that she had been killed within 48 hours of her disappearance. Disturbingly, the condition of her body clearly indicated that the killer had kept it refrigerated for nearly a month.#
TIA

No one is in a better position to help solve and maybe prevent more truck stop/interstate murders then the good men and women in the trucking industry. In the last four decades .approximately 500 bodies have been found along the nations interstates. More info here.

Please take some time to inform yourselves about these murders and then ask yourselves what you can.do to help. TIA -
Looking at your map if indeed it was the same killer it wasn't a long haul trucker but a trucker that ran strictly OH intrastate. That should narrow the playing field way down unless the whacko had a fetish for OH woman.
justiceforever Thanks this. -
Thanks Condo. That makes sense.
An autopsy revealed that one of the Ohio victims Anna Marie Patterson was frozen for a month before she was dumped. Two other victims were frozen but, from news reports, it's unclear if they were frozen by the killer or frozen by the elements. I suspect by the killer.
So that tells me that he drives a refrigerated truck. What I can't figure out, for the life of me is, how did he manage to keep Anna Marie in his trailor for a month without her being discovered by a shipper or reciever??? -
She could of been frozen at home like that one on AMW in a deep freezer in the back of a truck or even in his basement?
-
I guess I hadn't even thought of that. Haha! I got a bit of tunnel vision. I never said that I was a good sleuth.
I just immediately thought that he must of kept her in his refrigerated trailor.
I suppose it's very possible that he took her home and kept her in a freezer before he dumped her.
So let me ask you this. If the killer/s of the Ohio victims was a intrastate truck driver, rather than long haul, would he have more hometime? Would he be home daily? Or weekly?
