Yup, our doctor screens everyone, but this won't cost you anything.

Thanks! Good to know. How long should it take to hear back once I send in my application online.

It varies... depending on how long it takes to get your MVR, get calls back from former employers. If you haven't heard from them in a couple of weeks, either email them or call... just say something along the line of you wanted to make sure everything was going OK, and gee, is there anything I can do to help move the process along. If you call, just be prepared to camp out on hold until you get your recruiter; voice mail doesn't do you any good.

I sent the application in on April 23rd and left two voice mails and one email since then with no response from the recruiter. Should I be concerned or just more patient?

Prime Recruiting is EXTREMELY busy right now. Well, they always are, but even moreso at the present time.

Back in September, it took me about a week to get accepted. If I hadn't heard anything after two weeks, I'd be tempted to call the recruitment line, talk to whoever answers, and ask the status of my application.

got a question for anyone reading this thread: going for my north Carolina soon and have been looking at Prime, inc training program, do i still need to get my NC cdl permit or just apply with me having my NC driver license? Reason is that i have read, chatted with some companies that will say" u need to attend a accredited community college that has a trucking program!!

Also i know that all trucking companies( big and small) will look at past employers, well with me i havent been employed since 2011 { :( sad to say i have been looking for a job but i always get the sorry u don't meet the right requirements or some silly nonsense! will that hurt my chances of being a trucker}? any answers will be helpful to me. thank you:biggrin_25519::biggrin_25514:
