Pop a conventional tire and it'll tear ish up too, then continue to tear stuff up if the driver "limps" it in. I've replaced a lot of airbags because the driver continued to the TS with a blown inside tire

How did you come up with 20k lbs on the lead axle and 17,250 on the rear???? Either way you still can't go 40,000lbs on a spread!!!

as I know SS tire is wider the trailer single tire used in Europe. I run 385/65R22.5 tires on trailer, but I have tridem, not spread. SS tires are wider, as I remember 435/45R22.5. so less pressure on pavement. So as I know u can easily change twins with SS and I'm sure u have some weigt and MPG advantage, but pay attention how expencive are SS tires and SS rims. Too many tires are usually damaged with sharp stones, road bumps and some lost on yards stuff. To purchase conventional tire is much cheapper! so I'd think twice

truck makers say, u have about 100-110 kg per axle pay load advantage with SS. So with four axels on SS - 440 kg up to 1000 LBS... sounds cool. Well, 5-9% of fuel economy.. sounds unbelivable, I sugest about 3%
