Howdy all,
I'm not a trucker but have few friends that are. They're good guys and good reliable truckers but they can't manage finances to save their lives. So that's where I come in, i'm trying to see if i can get a truck and rent it out to them. That way they'll get better equipment and more favorable terms then from big companies and hopefully i'll get to make a buck or two.
So needless to say i have a bunch of questions. NightWinds 'So you want to "own " your own company' has a ton of good info but i'm still in the research phase trying to see if i can make the numbers work. How does the average trucker gets paid? Is it mileage or percent of the line haul revenue? And if someone can throw some numbers at me that'd be greatly appreciated.
