Newborn in Tallapoosa,Ga.,exit 5, I-20

I think this place may have been Nobles truckstop back whenever.I pulled in needing a place to park @21:20 or so thursday night,5/2.

WOW! plenty of clean paved parking with the wide spots that even the dead tired drivers,like me that night,can park evenly in.no need to park all crooked and all.

in fact,after driving around the lot and deciding that i can fuel for a shower and not risk losing a place to park,i put 60 gallons in,50 gallons for a shower, and got my shower coupon and parked.personable and prompt fuel clerks,CLEAN fuel islands,CLEAN interior,and parking lot was lighted well enough for even a female driver.

the shower was a bit dated but was very clean.i hit the restaurant and it was clean and had good food made to my order.$3.80 for a texas toast grilled cheese w/lettuce and tomatoe plus a plate full of crispy fries,water.you smokers even have a separate dining area that is closed off so us non smokers do not have to deal w/the second hand smoke.i despise walking thru a smoking area to get to my needed area.

the fuel was priced inline w/the Pilot next door.

yep i'll be stopping by again.old school yet updated enough.

 

i thought i saw a chrome shop in there as i walked to the shower.appreciate you mentioning that.i'll have to check it out next time thru-
