You are correct sir. He could've thrown them under my truck. People would know they weren't mine though. This cat was about 300 pounds and I'm 170 wet. Plus, I haven't worn tighty-Whitey's since I was about 8. To each his own.

Discrimination against a medical condition that would disqualify you from driving? lol
Granted, the ERA prevents acts of discrimination against people with disabilities, but the ERA does NOT cover safety sensitive jobs. If you had a lick of common sense you should have already known that certain meds and driving don't mix. You can still work for CR England if you want to, just not as a driver. -
Can't work for England there stupid school down in Fontana is running around telling people with in the company not to hire me.. it's okay Friday I got three pre-hire notices from companies after I finish another driving school. dot regulations say I just need a doctors release and been stable on the same meds for 6 months....
-
DOT regs are one thing. Insurance policies are another. I don't know what your medical condition is and what drugs you're taking, but for example would you want someone with a history of epilepsy driving a 80,000 LB truck? Most people wouldn't, because that persons medical condition poses too much of a risk.
Good luck to you in finding a job. I do hope that you'll succeed, but you have to look at things from the employers prospective as well. -
I have bi-polar disorder...it just make's me really moody if I go off my meds. been on meds since 2008...
-
Do the meds disqualify you from driving or operating heavy machinery?
If yes, then there's your answer. Sorry bud, but if those meds disqualify you then there's really nothing you can do. You can still work in the industry. Just not as a driver. -
bi-polar huh??? you sure you want to truck for a living???
-
to both ghost ryder and Teflon dave, no the meds don't disqualify me I have my dot physical done. I just had to have a doctors release that said I was able to drive long hours and that I've been on my meds 6months or more. and yes I want to drive truck I drove long haul flatbed oversized loads back in 2003-2004 and let my license go which was stupid but I decided to have a family, now I want to get back in the truck. not that I grew up around the industry my whole family is full of truckers my dad both my uncles and my grandpa was a trucker up to the day he died
-
What meds are you on? Which three companies did you get pre-hires from?
-
Bi polar disorder and truck driving shouldn't mix.
I couldn't imagine the destruction that would occur if one ran out of meds OTR.....
