So far its good with RTI. Nice truck to drive with an APU, maintenance is paid for, tolls and scales are paid, prepass is paid, they even pay for my Sirius radio. Dispatch is great to work with and it seems like they genuinely care about getting you home on time and how many miles you run. You get a choice of a new'ish (120k miles on it more or less) Cascadia, Prostar or 587's. I opted for the Prostar and its soooo comfy. I heard they are getting in some new KW's but thats just a rumor. I like not having a truck payment coming out when I'm not running. They cut off the truck payments at I believe its 110k miles a year and after that no more truck payments for your running year. If you are looking to make a ton of money a week this prolly ain't the place you wanna be but if you have your finances under control and just want to make a decent bring home check (everything I have is paid off except for this truck) this might be a place to check out further. Talks to Travis the recruiter and he'll let you know more. I was amazed he didn't blow smoke and told it exactly how it is. What I don't like but can live with is... Peoplenet (the old green screen system) but they are slowly getting in the new ones with the purdy colors. Its a closed fuel network and you only fuel at the truckstops on the list they give you but.. its an 8 cent discount off of the cash price and so far its not really been a problem (I just don't like being limited on fueling). I'm sure there are better places and definately worse places but this outfit fits my needs the best right now and if it stays this way I'll be with them for a long time. If you do decide to come on board the hotel they put you up in is really nice. Suite rooms and no sharing a room. They also feed you VERY well. I gained 5 pounds in orientation.

There used to be a $100 deductible. There isn't any deductible anymore. As I understand it, they changed it about a year or so ago.

RTI is a great company to work for if you want to drive a new truck and be home most weekends. But every lease operator i know is making between $500 and $600 a week . If you want to make more be prepared to not go home on the weekends. I will be giving them 2 more weeks to get my miles up or Im giving another company a call.

Yeah, if you want to be home every weekend then I can see where you'd bring home $500 to $600 a week considering you are making a truck payment, paying for fuel and all the other things that come out. I stay out close to a month at a time and go home for 4 days maybe. Averaging it all together in a months time, I bring home somewhere around $800 to $900 a week after all the expenses are taken out. I'm sure I could make more money somewhere else but at this stage of the game its not all about the money. Comfortable and happy both have huge value to me.

all of the numbers are real nice but bottom line is you need the miles to make money and you wont get the consistent miles you need to make money.

Hello everyone. This is my first post here and I would really like to know if there is anyone in the Dallas, TX area leased to RTI and how is it working for them? I am considering the lease purchase program and I would like to know if anyone from this area have any issues to leave from and come to the area in about 1 week? I would like to work 5-6 days and spend 2 with my family. Any info is very appreciated !!!
