I do appreciate the compliment...but Mike Grant deserves it way more than me.
I do what I do here...just by trying to keep up with him...with emphasis on "trying"...he is a tough act to follow...its only May and he is already about 4,000 miles ahead of me this year.
His fuel mileage is better than mine by about .3, he stays out just as long as I do, he finds every little advantage (managing time) and works his ### off to make good on it, he goes the extra mile to take care of Maverick and our reputation...the list goes on...
If it were up to me, I'd elect him driver of the year tomorrow ...and that's the truth!
Yes...I have a lot of respect for him...he is a good person, and a good friend.

So I just now figured out how to view my score card. I've been going to the Maverick site and logging in under the employee tab, no that would be too easy. You have to go to driver.maverickusa.com I might be the last person in the fleet to know this but thought I'd share just in case you were having the same issue.
So right now I'm at 114% I need to slow things down a bit or sewerman is going to accuse me of being a company suck ##### -
How often is the score card updated? Since my hire date was 4-25, I won't be eligible for PFP till 4th quarter...
-
Its supposed to be updated everyday (and always a day behind)...but I don't think its there yet.
-
Mine hasnt updated since I first looked at it earlier in the week...
Edit: wait, I think it has updated. My OOR is back down in the single digits. -
It's supposed to be updated daily.
-
leads me to a complaint: MPD...
I have NO control over my MPD as I drive out the miles that I'm dispatched! It should be a % of your miles dispatched per day to give an idea of how hard your running... -
I'm at 85 . . Plentygood!
-
umm, anyone be interested in sharing their points they are getting for their MPG??
reason Im asking is that it appeared to me initially that MPD is much more weighed to figure your PFP, duh, lol... but a small change in you MPG has a big difference in your points.
example: Im at 7.02 MPG and receive 11.3 pts. Now my GOAL lists MPG at 7.15 but for the SMALL difference in MPG, the points raise up to 15! seems like a HUGE jump in just a small change in MPG... -
You are correct, MPD is 50% and MPG is 15%. If you start getting behind in MPD see if you can stay out over a weekend and pick up a few miles. The calculation is based on a 5 day week.
As for MPG you are starting with a very small number (7.15) so it doesn't take much to move this number. Remember we are working in % not points. You can pick up 5% just for getting a good DOT inspection, or try to boost your MPG .36 to get the same 5%. So point is don't get too fixated on MPG.
MPD will put more money in your pocket in two ways, your weekly paycheck and bonus money will also be paid per mile. I wish we were paid by the hour but were not. You have to work within the system you are given.Last edited: May 17, 2013
