Sorry guys, I ended up declining the position. They are too small a company and have far too many ads, just didn't seem right. They have like 65 end dumps yet have to run ads/orientation every week? Something smells fishy.

Well, i wenr with woody on the van side. Ive only been here a week, so in 6 or 7 months ill have the real scoop on them. So far i made it home on my first weekend... So the real test is getting my miles in this week and then payday friday.
I honestly think they recruit so much because of thier location. Your 80 miles from stl and a hindred abd something from springfield. Doesnt seem like many locals are drivers and the ones that are.. Work for woody. Last i heard, there are 3 or 4 end dump trucks left and all those positions are filled. -
They had yet another ad on CL today, guess they're worried those potential end dump drivers are gonna flake out. -
Could be. I dont think ron changes the add but repost it. When we left there were 3 or 4 end dumps and then 6-7 otr van trucks. I dont think a lot of locals like electronic logs, 65mph and automatuc trycks. Like i said, im still way in the honey moon phase, so ill bring it back up in around 6 months.

I didn't have any problems other than scraping a trailer and being fired but I knew I was on probation and tried my hardest. They WILL run you really well for being on Elogs. Expect around 2300-2800 a week and if you say you want home every weekend. They do it! Trucks are nicely equipped and pull very very well. I'm sure they are a all auto fleet now but not 100% on that.
