I had the shuttle pick me up at K W but figured I need the exercise so walked to diner they definitely have good food would recommend it to anyone
-
I have a really hard time believing this. In no way is Millis not going to allow us to idle our trucks. Especially with summer coming and not to mention its company policy that you idle in the winter with a beer load if temperature is below a certain point.
Are you sure you don't have your ignition timer set. A buddy of mine was at KW in Oak Creek today for the same recall and they didn't do anything of the sort to his. -
Im not buying it either. If millis starts taking steps into a direction of a cdl mill like company. Ill be applying to Abilene after my 18-24 months is up. As of now i have alot of faith in Millis and want to remain employed here.

Well there is the problem right there.MTownZ Thanks this.

Oh. I hear ya. Oak Creek is horrible. I try avoiding that place like the plague.

Rumors are not a good thing, say it ain't so. Cameras and now? Not good!

sorry was driving all day. the mechanic at wisconsin kenworth said millis is turning off the ide timers. this means no idle. my truck stays idling for about 2 minutes unless i rev the engine.
-
make that 3 min. i just timed it. doesnt matter how hogh the ignition timer is set to. after 2 min it jumps to zero then another minute and shuts off.
-
With out the ability to idle in the summer, the inside of the truck will easily reach 100+ degrees for daysleepers. I sorry, but I'm not believing this till I hear from multiple sources. It's extremely unsafe and they will be losing drivers to heat related illnesses left and right.
