Are you sure they didn't just screw up your truck. Had a def line update done at Oak Creek today, along with a crankcase filter, have had no problem idling truck today.

So it won't idle at normal idle speed? Just when you rev it? Why can't you set it to high idle like I suggested before? Or use a pin puller put on the fuel pedal and wedged into the seat? Millis cannot keep us from idling

If anything is a case of the 5 min idle unless cruise is set to keep drivers that idle while fueling, idle when inside and such from doing it. I agree Millis won't stop us from idling.

it may be something like what Knight has where you can,t idle if outside temp is within a certain temp I believe with knight it is between 40 and 72 deg, if any Knight driver sees this they can correct this or I will try and ask my friend who drives for them when he wakes up

The dinging is an easy fix. Set your trailer brakes, release your tractor brakes. Ta da no more dinging.

Tested idling truck last night when it got into the 60s and was able to idle fine, and have had no issues idling since i got truck back from oak creek. Either they screwed up samurai's truck, he got "volunteered" for a test and wasnt told, or oak creek didnt bother to change mine.

Truck 2001. Had software, def line, crankcase filter, and shock spring done at oak creek 2 days ago. Tested by letting it idle like normal, was low 50s outside, mid 80s and 70s and its idled without shutting down. What version is the software you are running. Truck info-engine info-software version on dash. Just to be clear i dont doubt you, just odd that its not everyone who went to kw for fixes.
