so joker, your trainee now says hes gonna do his lease gig until the end of the year and then leave to go back to what he was doing.... why enter a lease when you already plan on getting out in less than a year

 

Spent the night in Redding. Good start to a new week. I'm off to L.A.

 

Arrived way early, (22 hrs early) at the consignee yesterday. Tried to smooze my way in for an early delivery but no luck. Called Enterprise and got a $40 rate on a nice minivan, heck they even came and picked me up, got me a cheap room and took off for Santa Cruz. Had an awesome meal at a place called Johnny's Harborside with a nice view of the harbor. Drove over to a State Beach called Sunset Beach this morning. It was beautiful, not a soul in sight.

Unfortunately, I'm back on the truck now waiting for a dock.

 

Now that's the way to deal with an early arrival..................................

not sure i like the whole being home thing, even just on the weekends
