    R.I.P driver.

Curves and being narrow are not the only factors that make a road dangerous.

Something tells me, unless your a lawyer involved with this, or some one from upper management, I call bs.
Details like that would not be released to the public, until the whole accident investigation has been closed.
Rule 1 I learned in a Risk Management class I took years ago, in anther industry, that involved the skiing industry,, Never talk to anyone , or give out details, until told to do so by management.

There was a message from swift to their drivers via the qualcomm regarding this incident. This is where the info of him being on the phone with his mother came from. I for one don't believe it, though it could be possible, was more likely a scar tactic to keep us driving safe.

Unless the family came foward at some point, their is no way Swift would know IF he had been on the phone, as the article says the truck burned for 3 hrs. I doubt the phone made it through that, plus if the family had any brains ( no offense intended, not assumeing they didn't) they would never say that outloud where the company/insurance could use that against a claim.

I feel for the family and my prayers go out to them.

You don't think a distraught mom would have immediately placed a call to Swift and explain what she heard and that she could not re-contact him? I understand trucker rumors and tend to err on the side of not believing them but this is not out of the realm of possibility ... sadly.
