Looking at getting ST with galaxy s2 phones. Would like to stay with att service.

Was looking for more info on how the phones perform on ST? And how people like the phones, coverage..etc

I would get an unlocked phone also

I've been on Straight Talk with the Galaxy SII for about six months now and couldn't be happier. I work out in the Eagle Ford Shale (the middle of nowhere in South Texas) and have excellent service-even 4G (HSPA) at some well locations. I had AT&T before this and hated dealing with them. With AT&T I was paying $65 a month for "unlimited" service which gave me only 1 gig of data and no 4G. With Straight Talk I use the exact same towers as AT&T, get 2.5 gigs of data and 4G service for $45 a month.

Straight Talk is going to start charging for data... You will have to get a data plan, people are using too much data. Guess they see how much $$ they are loosing out on.

What are the different letters associated with the sim cards? ST has had a falling out with att and is now only offering T Mobile cards with their "bring your own phone" plan. I have been looking on ebay and there are sellers there with sim cards, but I dont know which to order. Will a CMDA card work with the program, and how about a GSM "B" card....what towers will they work off of?

If using TMobile towers a CDMA card won't work.

    ATT + TMo = GSM
    Sprint + Verizon = CDMA

Since I am using an unlocked Iphone 4, I guess Im stuck with GSM, arent I? The sim card I just ordered has a B designation and I just wonder what that means?

Actually, come to think about it,

Verizon only has Sim Cards for4gLTE.
And the Galaxy S3 I had with Sprint didn't have a Sim card at all.
