They've brought some older conventional trucks outside of those stretched out Pete's they have... they might keep them maintained though

Actually that's not bad for home everyday pay. I drove a lowboy for a local company making 17.50hr and grossed 50k a year and only worked 9 months out of the year some half day Saturdays, no Sundays.

At ew2108- Corralluzo hrs is weird. It can start any where from 1am to 8pm 12 hours shift about 3 to 4 stops. Everybody else start at 2pm or 4pm. Quest do a lot of gulps, quest and some unknown gas stations. They are not hard to get in or out. Quest have a lot of trucks. They are the the ones with the animal trailer and the green tractor. They are big in Va only forty five trucks down here in Md. When you go down to talk with the manager I forgot his name sorry. Drive around the block and you will see petro, quest, fleet transit inc, ans Sunoco. Then you have Ocean Petroleum I miss working there, penn tank lines all O/O company they do same clubs and some others good money too.

At Excorcist- I agree with you on that a little. I started making $22.00 hr at Ocean Petroleum in 6 months I was making $24.00 hr. I worked fri, sat, sun and mon anywhere from 10 to 12 hrs a day. I picked that shift because it was only me and another young lady that was there that have kids young kids and was mothers. The males that worked with me made the same amount of hours in money but had more or less hrs a day and either a sat or sun to work not both. I was making $22.00 hr at Quest working 4pm to 4am thur, fri, sat and sun. The bottom line is that when I first started everybody was making $20-25 hr still with overtime now that dropped a lot. Now everybody starting off at $17-18 with 1 to 2 yrs experience just driving. So you working longer than usual to make a certain amount each wk but easy work.

    Excorcist1 Thanks this.

I worked for Coralluzo some yrs ago and they were actually pretty cool with their runs. Average about three loads a day , one long and two short stops. I also worked at Petro Xpress for a yr and the company itself is laid back. I work for Disttech now out of Curtis bay and I run a local/ regional mix. Might be out for a day or two off weekends and holidays. The pay is most money I've ever received in my life. Paid an adjustable salary every two weeks.

I do not know much about sheetz. For what I heard about sheetz they are a good company all the way around. A lot of gasoline companies in the northern Va area pay really good compared to Baltimore, Md.

At Nard 1500- Corallozzo would be a better company over all. They get paid every wk and over time after 50. They keep their trucks in excellent condition and the drivers are really friendly. They do not have a lot of stupid rules. You will like Corallozzo.
