And here I sit in Missouri with $9 million dollars worth of aircraft wing on a trailer and no where to go without 2 pilot cars and 2 state trooper escorts all the while the local weather people are saying that line of disturbance is headed this way with baseball size hail and 70 to 80 mph winds. I sure hope our insurance rep isn't watching this unfold. I'm chained off to 2 jersey barriers but I'm still concerned that won't be enough. Ugh, it's going to be a long and miserable night.

Radar looks pretty bad for MO tonight. Stay safe and remain UNATTACHED to that load!

Fuel island is the LAST place I'd want to be in a tornado.

I know i thought that too,but had 50/50 chance and it was that or a green pasture, and it was hailing,so I wanted to shelter my new red truck and go in building.ALL I HAD...

As much as I would like to be unattached that would cost me a job and my company a customer. The truck has to stay attached at all times period. But I do have access to a deep ditch right close to where I'm parked and I have both sides anchored to Jersey barriers to help keep it from rocking quite as much. Just going to put my seatbelt on and ride it out.

And as I just typed that last one the wind is picking up but at least at this moment it's a direct headwind and I'm starting to see lighting to the west of me.

Driver I JUST went thru that down there, and I don't get too shook up about weather but that was SCAWY!!!!! Especially when it's on your tail feather..please worry about yourself and your family, that other stuff is NOT your burden when faced with adverse weather!!!
