hmm.up in the air here.plenty of decent parking, as in wide and plenty of room to manuver, fuel price is close to the roo's across the street, showers are clean BUT you must walk thru a smoking area to access them and they are small and dated and w/o any additional hooks to hang your stuff on,and the staff is very friendly and personable.

my indecision stems from the high priced grill-close to $7.00 for 2 egg and cheese biscuits and the fact that you must walk thru a smoking section to get to the showers.

parking can almost always be found though so that superceeds many gripes.it is an old school t/s without a doubt and does have a small but stocked chrome section and plenty of bulbs/lights and all the necessities of trucking.

you also get to hear the truck wash gals carry on w/the drivers and can hear some really stupid stuff.i sort of enjoy hearing the stupid stuff simply because it is truck drivers at their best and worst.lots of humor-

yep.i parked under the sign back then and do so now.creature of habit perhaps? i am not sure regarding the junk status although it is certainly not the 76.it does seem as if the owners are trying, incrementally, to bring it up to snuff.

i live in chattanooga. i get so tired of hearing them advertise on the radio. there have been many instances of wrecks around that area and they just keep talking about that flippin truck wash. i get so frustrated at them some times i think about tying a chain to the tower with the antenna and carrying that thing northbound on 75 to the GA/TN line lol
