No. Just telling you what you don't want to hear. I've done it the hard way and I assure you Ivory is not out of line. You are. Your juvenile response has probably burned more bridges to great advice than you'll ever know. Take that attitude out there as an independent and you're gonna be hurting in short order, no matter how great you think your plan is.

If I may, I would like to ask a question about starting up and making a living. Let's say someone could buy a truck and trailer outright. Have enough money to fund a complete overhaul and at least 3 months of expenses. Is it something you would do or would you keep your money and go to work somewhere.

What do you want out of the other end? Rather vague question with no background.

Well would you take the chance to work on your own or don't take the risk and be an employee somewhere. Freedom to work at your own pace would be the goal of being an O/O.

If you don't think your plan is good.
Why are you still proceeding with it?

I've been researching the O/O thing for 2-3 years now. Written 4 different plans, and scrapped each one.
I would never buy a truck without having a plan that I was completely happy with.

stop trying to write it to succeed and write it to show what it would take to fail. The numbers will make you feel a lot better about it.
