Flying a kite in a thunderstorm was the essence of discovering eletricity, so anchoring to a large wing in a tornado might also have some merit regardless of how it may appear at first glance.
Hope you brought lotsa coffee and a NOAA weather radio.!
Stay safe.

There was a truck blown over the guardrail on I-40 also on that clip, it was on the 177 road. Couldn't tell whose it was, looked like maybe a daycab.
Prayers for all, there was one reported fatality so far. -
Stay safe. Please. I went thru this stuff last night. Don't take any chances. Just stay safe. Piss on being on time if it means putting safety aside.
drvrtech77 and dptrucker Thank this. -
wow, talk about havoc! Hoping everybody comes out of this ok.
Sly Fox Thanks this. -
There's no piece of freight more valuable than my life. I may have been in dicey weather before (saw a tornado just west of OKC a few years ago near Yukon (took out the roof of a department store; A Target, I think). But, that was a quick generally biteless storm that dropped a funnel cloud and sucked it back up just a few hundred yards later. These massive storms are like a gateway to hell. Nothing good comes from them.
