With the recent outbreak of storms its reminded me to get a decent weather app on my phone. I think they could be a real life saver especially if you're in an unfamiliar area.
What app do you guys use? I have the free version of RadarNow on my phone and it seems ok. I do not mind paying for a really good app. I would like it to have a good radar and give storm warnings for your current area.
Thanks

Accu weather is ok. Not the best but pretty good for free. Not sure about the ones you pay for
MJ1657 and Charli Girl Thank this. -
I use raindar on my android. Best radar program I have found and it's free.
Charli Girl, hunts2much and MJ1657 Thank this. -
I use Accu weather (free). I'm pretty sure they have a paid version also. Not sure what the differences are.

I have an Android phone. I'll check Raindar out.

I use weather bug some hate it others don't mind it I love it. We had thunderstorm warnings and tornado watches all weekend and my phone had the warnings posted before the emergency alert on the t.v. I've been happy with it my only gripe is sometimes I have to manually select my location because the GPS brings up something different but it works pretty well. I like the radar as well just make sure you have enough data seems to use a good chunk watching the radar.
MJ1657 Thanks this. -
I use iMap Weather Radio (not the free one). Its ten bucks, but you choose the warnings you want to get and it will give them to you anywhere you have cell data service based on your GPS location. And if you're rolling, you can listen to the message instead of read it. It also has good radar so you can plan ahead. All around great app, worth every penny, and I'm not one to purchase apps!

i've tried them all. except raindar
weatherbug is the only way to go.
not only does it give warnings for all conditions. it's doppler distinguishes between rain and snow. (different colors) where as the rest simply show that there's moisture in the air.
it offers the most features. and the price is free. you can't top that.Lady K Thanks this. -
The Weather Channel sucks after the last update.
I bought Weatherbug Elite it follows me around and throws up warnings for where i am, Radarnow occasionally does that. -
i have to agree weatherbug is really good especially if you spend the 2.99 for the upgrade
