favorite daf from my country , picture is not mine(picture is of friend from my forum he have 7-8trucks) it is taken on bottom on country 550km from me

this kind of setup become rare in recent years, i like it because of nostalgia and way it drives dont need mirrors at all, before about 90% of all setups were like this today very rare, in last 5years those trailers are not used in driving schools , so new drivers dont even know how those trailers behaves , my 30year old friend started recently to drive v8 actros and same setup on first trip trailer taken over control over truck several times even he have decent experience

New Kenworth k200 fold out steps. Pretty neat. They have sensors on both sides so they won't open if something is too close and they won't close if something is behind them. Also they auto close of you drive off and they are open, also they are rated to 250kg

New fold out steps on the Kenworth k200. Pretty nifty and work really well. They have sensors on the outside so if anything is too close or anyone walks past they won't open also a sensor underneath so they won't close of anything is behind them. And they close automatically if you drive off.

Sorry it is crap pic but it was hard to get a good one.
They fold out about 40cm at the top and about 60cm at the bottom to make the steps on an angle

Hmm, interesting. Wouldn't the steps be a little too small for it to make a staircase, plus would OH&S need a handrail of some sort?

Nevertheless, it's good to see KW finally addressing the cabover access problem

Better weight transfer and better suspension travel also possible.
