Speed is overrated.
If they turn these things to 75 they can see what bad fuel mileage is all about.Dinomite Thanks this. -
The coronados where built to go 75 mpg with a 7.0 mpg range. Most all the drivers that has been here a long time have said they got better fuel mileage at 75 than 65. Also overall better performance too. Not sure if they are speaking the truth or not. But with trucks only doing 5.8 mpg I don't think they should be worried about getting bad mpg at a higher speed.

It's the gearing in these too. There is no good gear for 55 mph. Either too high of rpms in 9th or your too low in 10th. I'm personally comfortable doing 65 with the ability to do 68. Set the cruise and forget it. If I need to pass someone, I got three extra mph to do so.
Anyways, I'm sitting at CT Power having them look at my leveling valve. It has an air leak and Im not sure it is keeping my driveline level, causing a vibration in my truck. Also, having them look at my right side airbags. They are not sitting straight up and down. -
thereo is no way in hades that those corinados could get 7.0 at 75 mph, I have a 2014 Prostar with a 13 speed non def 500 hp motor., at 75 i would be getting around 6 mpg with a light load. and my truck is a whole lot more aerodynamic. whoever at Fitzgerald sold them that line of crap is full of it. at 60 mph i am getting 9.2 mpg.
Dinomite Thanks this. -
Ok then who fing cares about the mpg. Didn't think I would struck a nerve in all of you just by making a statement on 75mph. Hooray to 65 then.
Either way I was finally able to crawl under trl 045 this morning to give it a lube. The thing new Albany doesn't do ever. Well 1 grease fitting on the landing legs fell off while trying to grease it. The others are clogged and will not take grease. So I stopped their on the lube. Got by the shocks as the back two have been changes and the front two are falling off. Good thing I pick this trl up at new Albany just after the shop looked it over. Way to go Tim. A+ for yet another waste of time. Man I wish I could get this free money there guys are getting.
So now I am 11 miles north of where I was at a T/A waiting in line to get it fixed. I know should have caught it in new Albany but crawling under trl axles with a grease gun isn't in my job title. -
Tennessee Butt out or meet me in the street at noon. You are a trouble maker.
Gabby,chill.. -
Tennessee I hate being the one tell you this but we stopped believing anything you said before you left FRE.
People might like you if you weren't always trying to upstage. lol -
What the coronada's need is 70 mph and add 50hp. Then the mpg would improve. Turning up speed without power won't do it

Hey Frogman Are you and family OK??
