DB i tried the clutch thing and it still shuts off. i will try again when it is hotter out. i am going to message Dan to see if he knows whats going on.

 

Craig just messaged me and asked me to go to KW in Madison for DEF recall. Just checked in and will update when finished and let you know if they mess with my idle.

 

had miy def recall last week in Madison and they didn't bother my idle. they said it would take f0r hours but they did it in 1 and a half

 

Craig told me about 4 hrs also. Good to hear hopefully I won't be here that long then. Heading to Walmart DC in Menominee and need to go by BRF on my way thru and have them look at my inverter. I'm having problems with it.

 

Havent been posting much. Been busy, Plattekill Service plaza on 87 in NY. Deliver tomorrow morning in Westfield Mass. Still here, still happy.

 

my recall took 3.5 hours. and update i am at oak creek and they are resetting my idle back to what it was. i guess my 5 quallcomm messages worked.

 

Samurai. Was it a mistake? What did they say?

 

After I got finished at Madison KW. I asked them if the did anything with my idle and they looked at me like I had three heads and said why would they. I just said nevermind and went out to my truck which they had idling. I let it idle for 12 minutes before I took off again and no problems. Took them just under 3 hours.

Did anyone give you an explanation of what happened Samurai?

 

A guy I know just moved into a t7 today and he was saying that they are going to set his truck to shut off after three minutes if the outside temp is between 30-80. Will let you know if I hear anymore.

 

no explanation. but did talk to another driver that had come in to have the same thing reversed on his truck too. seems they might have tried to impliment something without telling anyone to gauge a reaction. but it could be like mtownz said with the temp thing. but mine wouldnt even idle when my temp gauge said 92 today.
