I need a swift mentor

You've got to give me something to respect if you want me to respect you. I'm not a Swift mentor. I'm a trainer at a different employer. If you come onto my truck with this attitude, I'll kick you off faster than you got on. My truck, my rules. Follow the rules if you want to pass my training requirements. It's that simple.

 

was talking to an o/o who is a mentor and he said exactly what you just said. wanna bet that we see basscat here comes back and say how bad the training was and how terrible the mentors are? funny how these students thinks sometimes

 

all i can say is WOW. for a grown man, you have alot to learn. anyone who demands respect hardly ever gets it. thankfully i'm not a mentor. i'm a loner and like my own space. don't know how trainers deal with students that demand respect but i would say they most likely would throw them out of their truck. you have to remember.if mentors are o/o or l/o, its their truck not swift. so they make the rules. they have things they have to train you on and hopefully teach you. but thats it. good luck basscat, i think youmre gonna need it lol

 

The majority of the mentors/trainers out there aren't that bad, until they get a student that starts demanding things. Students need to earn their place, it's never given. There's a reason why you're the student and I'm the trainer. When you've been around for a couple of years, then you can demand things. Demanding things from day 1 makes you look foolish.

 

I was not demanding anything,but you guys think we the students are going to put up yalls BS,IM there to learn the trade of truck driven.If you treat me right,everything will go right,If you think im going to listen to you BS ,WRONG,......

 

I can see where you're coming from, but I can also see you're going to have some problems.

 

ill kept you posted,One of the instructors at the academy said I would make a good mentor,lol,Because I payattention to detail,and listen.....
