No update from greg. It is a broker load so who knows. I told him I had a 0500 delivery and I'm sure he expects me to do it on my time and not go on the clock until 1400.

 

I hate Western Stars.

 

I got to hang out in the Omaha office today and visit everyone. They are a good group and I can tell you now that those guys really are working for us. Sure it doesn't always go our way but they try. They really are a cool bunch. I could hang out with them.

They sent me a ppln from John Morrell in, Sioux Falls delivers Sun in IN.

 

Started Monday at 0800, got 2100 miles and 15 or so hours on the clock and was home at 1800 on thurs evening. Not bad for a week in a POS!!!! I wrote the truck up for an alingment and to fix what I think is the EGR. its sad that i had a Cadilac and good miles, now i have a POS and great miles, been that way most of my carreer though now that I really think about it...
They told me they ordered 10 more new 379 Pete's and i should get one when they come in. there pretty nice trucks. Paccar engines but there turned up and dialed in the 10 we have now the guys say there doing really good 1/2 are autos and the others are 13 speeds

Got back into Walcott last night. Never heard back from anyone about looking into balancing my tires. So I had them balance all drives. Three were four ounces under, three more six, one eight and the worst is sixteen ounces under. I hope now this fixes my vibration. The sad part is, the tire in the best condition was the one sixteen ounces under. Go figure.

 

Sure enough I am on the same load. They just changed the delivery time to Monday at 0530. Which is ok, it will give me Sunday to get the truck serviced and cleaned up. It could use a bath. After I deliver I head home til Saturday noon. At least they got me home to celebrate my big 60 birthday!
