thanks.Lmao!I was kinda getting the feeling like this isnt gonna happen. But patience was never my strong points either. Now when you say PSD,Do I just skip the whole orientation faze, take physical and do paperwork and go straight into a trainer truck?Do I still have to go thru the "Interview"process that was described in early comments?just wondering(so if this ever takes off im ahead of the game).

PSD is Prime Student Driver. It's Prime's CDL school.
The interview is basically a paperwork check. This is where you get to explain any blemishes on your record. It's also an honesty/integrity check; your last chance to "come clean" about anything you didn't disclose on your initial application. If you've been up front with everything since the beginning, you have nothing to fear from the interview. Remember, Prime has already invested hundreds of dollars in you by this point; they're not going to send you home simply because you're ugly or your momma dresses you funny...
You'll need to ask your recruiter about your specific case. If you recently got out of CDL school, you may go straight into an extended TnT. You will have an orientation, but it's a bit shorter than the ones the PSD students take.Rollr4872 and Rumblestrip Thank this. -
ok. I understand everything you said.Thing is I never filled out an application.I sent in my school records medical card and cdl copy..I spoke to HR again today(running theme here) and she states that I would have to come to Chicago to fill out the app.Do employment check.Physical and Meet trainer. But I cant past this "find a trainer"stuff..Going to Chicago isnt something promising not knowing if I have a job there. And if I dont then I have to pay my to get home again.Honestly Im getting more info about Prime from this thread than the company itself.
I know my background may be an issue and I dont wanna waste anyones time if it doesnt work out. -
I cant any real info from them. They always rushing to get off the phone.I wanna get to the bottom of the matter but I never get a straight answer..And then its "my manager has to approve a trainer first"before we can move forward..Im no fool and im quite sure I can do an a pp online but this slow process is killing me. Im going to see how long this will play out.

I am one final step away from being approved, I was on probation for a disorderly conduct that is under advisement and not on my record. If anyone knows if I should be worried about this please tell me, I am no longer on probation and just paying off my fines.

As long as you listed it on your app, you have nothing to worry about.

@ironpony..not right now i am not.I have taken the endorsement test though. Is Chicago the terminal for tanker division ?I see Springfield Mo.,as the training locale but Im not going to school.
Ok..I spoke to a driver yesterday out of ohio.He contacted me thru the referral that put me on to Prime. He let me know he couldnt train me as he didnt have enough time in with company to do so(which is no prob)So I ask does he know anyone within company willing to train me?.He had someone in mind but doesnt have any contact info.So I asked him can he go thru dispatch and find out the guys name and\or phone number...Just get info and I will call myself if you dont wanna talk to him..Idk if he will do but I told my refferal what happened. So they can possibly find a trainer before the HR does.Im just ready to make it happen thats all.Im doing my part though by stayin on top of what I can make work for me,but I guess the trainers are in limited #s or just not willing to do it right now.
