Pilot x 54 on IL 88. Some crazy dude tried to tell us on our way in no showers for anybody tonight, but we decided to ask for ourselves. Good thing. Points system down so free showers for everybody. Some crazy backing going on in here tonight. Have a load to New Berlin, WI in the morning..

Yeah, about that. I wonder if they're planning on running you to Gary to grab a relay.

So after my fm called and basically told me to get the load no matter what I did. Got to shipper and he said try the con and maybe we can relay it to Springfield MA if I get refused. This is after I non committed knowing if couldn't make the load. After I tried calling in 2 times for more info then just grab the load. After my fm called and was yelling and screaming to get the load. So here I sit til midnight at best bc bonehead fm's refuse to listen to anyone but themselves. No force dispatch isn't true. I was forced to get this load after my countless refusals. My other fm that I informed of the situation came in and said I could've grabbed it and relayed to another driver. I grabbed the load and wasn't told to meet anyone wasn't told anything but try to get unloaded late at the con. I have a feeling they'll try to pin it on me to take blame off themselves for something I told them was going happen. My choice pay plan when it's not my choice to get a load that I can't make on time resulting in a service failure that can affect my pay. I'd be happy to say if it was my fault, that there's something I could've done different or something I didn't do to make this load. I did what I can, communicated what I could and got nothing but a pip squeak yelling then hanging up when it was my turn to talk. Luckily I need my job, career and don't want prison time bc if I didn't care I'd park my truck on his lap. Super

Ouch, that sucks. I can't lie I have told drivers to pick loads up without a concrete plan for relay before. However I usually say something like "don't go past Gary, without hearing from me". I hope things look up for you bro.

Hey coop, that's is reason why when I have important CYA messages, I take pictures of them after I sent them so it shows it was sent and I have a record of it. I don't trust anyone to that. I don't know how it works in the office, but I don't put it past someone to delete messages.

At T/A xt 171 I-20 LA. About 370 miles to go with 7.5 hrs available tomorrow. A squeaker for sure.
