My husband is thinking about going to Boyd. What type of drug test do they require? Just urine or follicle too?

Before your husband decides to go to Boyd, take these negative comments that you read very seriously. I would rather work for werner than boyd. Just because the mileage pay is good doesn't mean you will make more money trust me. If you live near an Averitt terminal, I would strongly advise to run away from boyd. I'm not a complainer, but my time with boyd was by far the worst out of my 10 year driving history. But, some people don't mind staying out 2 weeks or more and being punished for other peoples mistakes. I do. Absolutely unreasonable company. Far worse than the other company I didnt like(werner). Stayed at werner twice as long and wasn't nearly as horrified. P.S. no driving company I ever heard of has ever done a follicle test. Take your 3 week break and dont worry about it!!!

You sound like a complainer and nothing more you must have done something really stupid and got yourself fired now you feel like they did you wrong. Idk where you gettin these ideas about boyd sounds like ypur just making them up to be honest and have never drove for them i live in indiana and am home every weekend i got a buddy in alabama missouri and arkansas who work here to and are home every weekend abd for you to say your punished for other peoples misrakes well thats just plain stupid and tells me that you are probaly either to lazy for flatbed of just arent very good at what you do and ps there are lots of companies that do follicle shcnieder, pci, ar, thats just three i know whitput having to think about it if you wantt more ill tell so before you go and try to give people advice maybe you should do some resesrch and really not just lie to them

So does that mean Boyd doesn't do hair follicle test?

You sound like a troll. If you read before you post, you would have seen an entire thread I made documenting my time at Boyd, not to mention plenty of posts on other threads (including this one). A key point you made is that you never worked for Boyd at all. I'm just offering my experience, if you don't like what you read, it doesn't mean it never happened. Boyd is the only company in 10 years I had a bad experience with. P.S.- All I said about the follicle thing was "no driving company I ever heard of has ever done a follicle test." That's not a lie. I never worked for shcnieder, and never even heard of pci, ar. You could name more if you're bored, but I thought the question was about Boyd.

Ok. I just can't understand your grammar enough to communicate with you effectively. If you like being at your consignee Sunday by midnight (instead of being home for the weekend), then you will like Boyd. That is company policy. If you like being denied home time because the interstate was shut down and you delivered late (and let them know over 12hrs in advance) then you will love Boyd!!! That's company policy!!! If you have less than a year of driving experience and are so dedicated to your company that you will argue that they could never do anything wrong, you will definitely love Boyd!!!! You cant argue with company policy. Read your handbook. And read my thread on boyd. Im sure you know that your dispatcher that you so dearly love isnt the only dispatcher at boyd. So armed with that invaluable tidbit how in the world could you think that my dispatcher would be just as wonderful? I live in NC and have heard good things about driving for boyd up north. Good luck recruiting people! Keep trying for that bonus! Speaking of bonuses, I bet you get that fuel bonus every month too.
