    Customer service needs to step their game up! This is my 3rd bogus appointment time in 3 weeks. One was off by 48 hrs! We manage our clocks based on appointments most of the time. Starting your clock to get into a shipper or receiver just to find out you were scheduled for a time they don't ship or receive sucks. Where is the accountability?

    I had one that the Ld Planners screwed up; picked it up one day and delivered that night, only to find out that it was supposed to have delivered the previous day! It wasn't MY fault, and the Cons. could not take me until the next day, at midnite. No foolin'. I ended up with $150 Detention. You can still go to your FM w/that LD number, and investigate if you could get Detention for the 48 hrs. I'd sure check on it, if I were you. ConWay T/L is really good about stuff like this...
    Then again, there are some Policies,,,or at least ONE Policy, that I DO NOT LIKE. I had a flat,,,on the side of the road for 2 1/2 hrs, which made me late on the load. Ops was informed, knew I would be late, set it up for later,,,then when I got there the Cons didn't unload for 7 hrs or so. I got NO Detention for that time.... I argued, b ut it did no good. I was screwed out of over 9 productive hours,,and ConWay could have cared less. "yeah, welcome to trucking".

    I feel you brother. I did get detention on the big one which added to more than layover. However no where what I would've made driving. I just think that others should be held accountable to the level that drivers are.......

    You do understand that Conway can only charge detention when Conway is on time and past 2 hrs at a customer,unless they(Conway) got the appt change,customer has no obligation to pay detention.Sounds like they just worked you in
