Is it me or does it seem like alot of those guys pulling 40 wheels and 60 foot homes by NYC and NJ would get paid alot of money? Was wondering how to get a job and is it rare or hard?

Not as rare as you'd think. My former landlord owns a small business moving houses, his uncle owns another slightly larger business doing the same, they both keep as busy as they want. I suppose it would depend on the company, not sure if you could get a job strictly as a truck driver or if you'd be working with the construction aspect as well. It is pretty cool the first time you see a fullsize stick-built break loose and hover over it's foundation :)

I'm sure it varies by state, probably like a contractor's license, etc. Couldn't tell you as to the wages, the guy I know figures his estimate and makes his bid, then relies on his reputation to bring the job home.
