I Start With Averitt in January 2012

Hey all. Sorry that I haven't posted but I've been busy on and off the road. All is good. My interim fleet manager is doing a good job and she seems really nice. She appreciates the fact that I communicate via the qualcomm and don't call her several times a day. Last week I had 2400 miles. This week will be less because I'm taking a four day weekend starting Friday. Went from Cookeville to Hannibal, MO last night. Got a load picking up in Granite City, IL tonight at 10 pm. When I got there they told me the pick up date was Thursday at 10pm. Nice. So now I'm parked at the St. Louis terminal waiting for them to get things worked out tomorrow on a different load or I'll be picking up this load tomorrow night. I'm hoping for a different load tomorrow as I don't want to sit another full day.

Had an oncologist appointment Monday morning. All is good and I am still cancer free. That news never gets old. Went to the dentist after that. That always gets old.

I ended up with about 1900 but was home by Friday at noon and I am off until Wednesday. I needed a mini vacation and am really enjoying the time with my family. Will be ready to roll hard again after this break.
