    i keep getting a fuel filter fault code on my screen in my 2014 Prostar, i had this truck serviced a couple weeks ago and they found a cracked fuel filter housing and replaced it, ever since then intermittently through out he day it gives me a warning light mand s

    MAN TGA/TGX engine.... There are fuel supply pressure sensor and rail pressure sensor. What sensor reads wrong data?

    Are you seeing this in the LCD display in the cluster, or do have the optional driver video display? What exactly is the message?

    lcd display in the clyster it says FUEL FILTER* and the little yellow wrench is lit up, it goes away eventually and hasn't affected my 9 mpg avg.

    Try changing the secondary fuel filter on the engine.

    fuel pressure needs to be checked on the engine with servicemax. I have seen the regulator on the transfer pump/hp fuel pump fail causing high low side fuel pressure and giving the filter lamp. Just out of curiosity did the use oem filters?

    i used atever ideallease uses, they do all my services, the had to replace the fuel filter housing last time i had it serviced, they said it was cracked, it started doing this after that

    Really they put secondary fuel pressure filter after the supply pump and they put fuel pressure sensor before the filter.

    If filter is clogged fuel pressure before filter rises and when it is over 6 BAR ECU reads high supply pressure code and thows CHANGE FILTER message.

    what was the problem I have a maxx 13 doing this too. Does anybody have a fuel system schematic.i need to know what lines are what so I can find the restriction. Also where the low pressure regulator is and what type of regulator.

    Low pressure regulator is part of the high pressure fuel pump and not serviceable. Did you try replacing your filters?
