Good luck on the bus I hear they are updated a bit and have WiFi and charging ports at least!!! I certainly hope Tuesday AM is when they hand it out I know personally I will be spent Monday evening and want to take a shower and get a good nights sleep...but I will adapt as I always have and I know that we have made the right decision!!! Keep me posted on your trip there

I think this was/is the right decision, from all my reading here and other places Prime seems to have about the best training program and their pay scale is better then all I've looked at for us newbies. I myself like the rigorous background checking they do, tends to thin the herd some. I also like the fact that 5 miles from my house is a regular pickup for the TC division of which I've signed on for. My hope is a bit more home time, however I have no intention of asking for it.

My recruiter checked with safety on mine and said they would be fine, just bring a note from doc stating that I am stable on all meds with no adverse reaction.

    See ya next week....!

The outlets on the buses are pretty much worn out. I keep a short extension cord in my laptop bag that lets me squeeze or spread the plug contacts so that it makes a decent connection inside the outlet. I'd really recommend the "flat" plugs that are designed to work with narrow clearance (behind furniture or appliances), as the outlets are about shin height between the seats in front of you. (Some buses have them on the wall.)

The wifi is pretty crappy. They're using cellular data, and I found my AT&T phone to have a better connection, and I wasn't sharing it with 20 laptop/tablet users.

You will get your "gold packet" when you check in to the Campus Inn. Get it done as soon as you can; it will take a few hours, and it will need to be done Tuesday afternoon.

Ok, I was on two meds about 6 months ago that would not be approved. However, I had no refills on them and haven't taken any since before the end of January probably. Do I need to go ahead and call my doctor and have him write a note just in case?

Been there, done that, have the T-shirt.
Have your doctor write a short letter on his letterhead stating something like the following:

    ------------------------------------

    To whom it may concern:

I examined (your name) in my office on (date). I prescribed (name of medication) on (prescription date). He has not taken this medication since (date medication ran out), and his condition is stable without it.

If you have any questions, feel free to call my office at (phone).

    (Signature block)

    ------------------------------------

The office visit MUST have been more than 30 days after you stopped taking the medication. I would recommend a separate letter for each medication. Bring the original with you, but have the doctor's office put a copy in your file in case the Prime doctor wants a faxed copy directly from the doctor's office.

Also, have your doctor go over your current medications list, and make sure those medications (and any others you aren't taking) are removed.

If over the counter and you have to sign for it at pharmacy (sudafed) it can be an issue
