What was wrong with the 50's? It was America's heyday.

 

Nothing really,just back then everyone was so uptight. If you were a white 65 or older Christian male everything was peachy.But if anything different,well there was a price to pay.Nowadays people are better educated when it comes to all of our differences and the hate is frowned upon now.... Racism,,sexism,freedom from Religion is now different from the 50's. and we are all better for it....it is a more tolerant nation now than ever..well at least we are trying....
But the 50's had its pros also...but unfortunately all of these things were done silently and that is dangerous.Nowadays prejudice of any kind is not tolerated....

I Do think you will be ok like most people said, keep it to your self and don't go macking on the other drivers of your sex.. I wouldn't care if you were doing your thing or not,BUT i know thats not how gay people operate going around an hitting on everything that is available like a lot of heterosexual men do.And if you did then I am sure you could bring your self some unwanted attention. BUT i know better now days since i am a much older man.I also believe in equality and think Gay people should be allowed to live happly like anyone,and be gay.And not be harassed by others. I think the people who are having issue with it are people who are not very healthy in there head to begin with. Just my 5 cents.
